Fancy Feathers Therapy Horses

Four and a half years ago I was disabled physically and mentally, from PTSD, PSTD after my time serving in the Navy. After so many years of struggling and hiding from public activities I stumbled upon a miniature horse named Beasley. I had an automatic connection with this small guy and began my therapy process with him by my side. From grooming to training we both helped one another grow and he has brought me so far and out of my shell that I was even able to attend my son's and daughter's graduation. Along the way, I also fell in love with an uncommon breed of horse New to North America. They're known as Gypsy Vanners. Their disposition and loving affection have gained them the saying of being the "golden retrievers" of the horse world. With my furry friends I would love to develop a program for the the disabled both physical and mental; and hopefully be able to make their lives brighter one smile at a time. We have found property that would be perfect for this program and our closing on it June 1 2017.  The hard part then begins; development of the land along with the building of a barn, arena, fencing, and ADA compliant. We are contributing over half the amount needed for the development but need a bit of help still.  With every donation we become a step closer, all donations will be honored with the name of donor on a plaque attached to barn.   I, along with all involved thank  you for taking the time to read our story and hopefully this will help us reach our dream of "Creating One Smile At A Time!"  This is a "Non-Profit."

UPDATE:  We are privileged to be joining forces with an excellent Non-Profit Program called:  Hooves & Paws Rescue of the Heartland.  The opportunities and ability to train and even adopt rescued mini's and donkeys for my program and to provide therapy at her location also is exciting.  You can check out their information at:  www.hoovespaws.org
